WildCard Nature ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Google account email and profile name (for authentication)
- Unique user identifier
Photos and Camera Data
- Wildlife photos you capture within the app
- Photo metadata (EXIF data) including date, time, and camera settings
- Photos are processed locally and through our AI generation service
Location Data
Privacy Protection: We round GPS coordinates to 2 decimal places (~1.1km accuracy) before storing. We never store or share your precise location.
- Approximate location is used to generate card "lore" (habitat region)
- Location is optional and can be disabled in device settings
Blockchain Data
- Solana wallet address (if you connect a wallet)
- NFT transaction records (public on Solana blockchain)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To generate AI-stylized card artwork from your photos
- To create location-based lore for your cards
- To enable NFT minting on the Solana blockchain
- To track your card collection and game progress
- To improve our services and fix bugs
3. Data Storage and Security
- Authentication tokens are stored securely in your device's encrypted keychain
- Card data is stored locally on your device
- NFT metadata is stored permanently on decentralized storage (Arweave/IPFS)
- We do not store your photos on our servers after processing
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Sign-In: For authentication (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)
- Stability AI: For AI image generation
- Solana Blockchain: For NFT minting (public, decentralized)
- ArDrive/IPFS: For permanent NFT metadata storage
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data:
- With service providers who assist in app operations
- When required by law or legal process
- On the public blockchain when you mint NFTs (wallet address and NFT data only)
6. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Deletion: Delete your account and local data
- Backup: Export your card collection
- Opt-out: Disable location services at any time
Note: Data stored on the blockchain (minted NFTs) cannot be deleted due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology.
7. Children's Privacy
WildCard Nature is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.
